This is a Marbles Trailmaker bowie blade made in Gladstone MI, USA before Marbles ceased producing them in 2010. This is a partially finished blade measuring 15" long overall and a 10 1/8" long 1095 High Carbon stamped Marbles USA. We have had a custom knifemaker complete these for us (examples shown in two pictures, not included) and they look fantastic when finished. The blade needs final grinding on the edges and finishing and buffing to complete. These were factory sealed with oil on them to protect, but it appears that the plastic bag sealing the sleeve retained a little moisture causing staining as pictured (all are similar). The sheath is an original Marbles Trailmaker sheath. All other parts are aftermarket and made specifically for this blade in the USA. The guards are either just right or just under dimension to ensure a nice fit.
