Vintage 1980s Seizo Imai Frost Cutlery Seki Japan The Ninja II Folding Balisong Butterfly Knife
Description
This is a vintage Japanese crafted pocket knife made in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai for Frost in the 1980s. It features solid brass handles and surgical steel blade with the original factory edge. These were normally etched Ninja II on the blade, but this one was not etched. As found in the Imai warehouse.
Seizo Imai was one Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds.
Imai made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai. His custom Loveless style knives are works of art.
