Vintage 1980s Dragon-Lock
Bought one in 1986 and love it. Had to have another for my collection. Couldn’t believe I found for sale brand new. Great butter fly knife.
This is an original vintage butterfly knife, made by Tak Fukuta circa 1980s in Seki, Japan for Dragon-Lock. We recently acquired this model from the Fukuta factory archives in Seki, Japan. It features a stainless steel blade, stainless handle with brass liner and latch. Knife only, no box. Extremely difficult to find today.
Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others.
