Description
In the 1980s G. Sakai produced excellent quality balisongs for Pacific Cutlery before the company went bankrupt in 1987. This knife features a metal handle and a hefty 0.15" thick stainless steel blade with the Pacific Cutlery logo and marked Japan. G. Sakai produced quality knives for many brands over the decades, including Al Mar, SOG, and Spyderco. For several years it made knives for Gerber, even changing its name to "Gerber Sakai" which was subsequently shortened to G. Sakai. The company now produces Spyderco's Japanese made knives which are known for their exceptional quality.
