This is a Loveless inspired knife blade blank made by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan for Winchester circa 1990s. It measures 8.125" long overall and the blade measures 3.625" long and is made of polished 3/16" thick 440 stainless. Has a tapered tang but only ground on one side with other side still needing ground. This is a limited edition knife blade and serial number will vary. Made for a large guard and bottom of blade is notched for it - guard not included, blade only. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This knife is one of these rare finds.
