Description

This is a scarce collaborative work between Bob Lum and Haruo (HARU) Suetake that is no longer in production. Founded in 1999, Seki Cut produced some of the finest Seki made knives for several years. The Encounter design by Bob Lum combined both Tactical and Practical features making it a a popular collaboration that was made by Haru. This SC-117 fixed blade Medium Encounter measures 9 1/2" long overall and features a 4-1/4" long ATS-34 blade that measures 3/16" thick with a thin black carbon fiber handle that measures 5/32" thick overall. This knife is extremely well balanced and lightweight. Suetake produced some of the finest knives for Seki Cut. This model is a recent find from the closed Haru factory in Seki. Sheath not original, but works.
