This is great looking blade blank made by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan circa 1980s and is identical to the Rigid RG-45 which Fukuta also made. This one is sterile (unmarked) to allow a personalized blade stamp/etch. One of his most popular Rigid designs, this is a fighting bowie version and the blade is just under 1/4" thick. It measures 12" long overall and the blade measures 7.5" long. Comes with the guard. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Kife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others.
