This is an original Olsen OK 165 pocket knife made in Seki, Japan between circa 1978-1982. In the late 1970s, Olsen teamed up with Seizo Imai to produce models in Japan at lower costs. This knife features a sharp stainless steel blade, wood handle, and classy art deco brass bolster. Unused, though with tarnish/light shelf wear, blade has a good lockup and snap. It is marked "Olsen Ok 165 - H.C., MI Pat. Pend" on the front and on the back is "Stainless Steel Japan". This is a great large pocket knife at 4.93" long closed. Highly collectible, yet usable. Acquired direct from the closed factory of Seizo Imai and in storage for nearly four decades, this is a rare chance to own unused old stock from a bygone era. Knife only, no box.
