Camillus USA factory closed in 2007 and the knives we are offering were made by Camillus before closing. This is a discontinued TL-29 - a piece of American military history. Camillus made these for government contracts and the TL-29 is a loved tool among our armed forces. The steel, 0170-6C is excellent carbon steel - Cold Steel bought this steel from Camillus prior to 2007 and marketed it as the famous CarbonV.
