Description
Amazing Vintage find in unused condition! This Khyber 2750 is vintage old stock and has never been carried or used, though may have light shop wear (it may have what appears to be cracks on handle, but on close inspection they are actually lines from the molding process). The blade edge is factory sharpened. Khyber brand knives are high quality Japanese Ka-Bar knives that were imported from Japan between 1976-1983 by the Cole National Corporation - the same company that owned Ka-Bar at the time. This is the Khyber version, identical to the Ka-Bar 2750. Made by Tak Fukuta for Ka-Bar, the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage unused old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of those rare finds.
