Description

This is a Loveless inspired fixed knife blade blank made by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan for Junglee circa 1990s. This blade is marked "AUS-8 Seki Japan". Upon completion, these would have had "Junglee Tak Fukuta" etched in the hollow ground area like the other blade we offer. It measures 8.325" long overall and the blade measures 4.125" long and is made of mirror polished 1/8" thick AUS-8. Blade only, no guard. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others.
