Description

This is an original G96 knife, made by Hattori circa 1970s to early 1980s. Stored in the Hattori factory archives for decades, this highly collectible knife was only recently found. Ichiro Hattori is one of the most widely known of master knifemakers of Seki, Japan, producing knives for G96, Valor, Kershaw, Browning, Fallkniven, Cold Steel and others. This is an extremely rare knife to find - collectible, yet designed to use. It features a very sturdy 5/32" thick blade made of "Rustproof" stainless, widely believed to be ATS-34.
