Display only, no knife. This is a nice vintage circa 1980s Japan made black velvet display case with gold silk top interior for a pocket knife. Excellent sturdy quality, the box was originally made for a Gutmann or Parker thin humpback whittler. Hard exterior and hard black interor, lightly padded gold area. Approx knife cutout in center: 3-5/8" long x 3/4" (at center) down to 1/2" on left and 9/16" on right x 1/4" deep (so about 3/8" thick knife would work). Would work best for a thinner knife, but for the Case stockman 6318, it fits upside down as pictured, the Case Whittler 6308 also fits with a little extra room lengthwise. However, with a thicker 3 blade knife like those above, the box is slightly open with lid closed (as shown in last picture).
