This is a fantastic vintage unused old stock G. Sakai Classic folding drop point lockback knife. This is a stunning folder. We don't know the actual production year of this knife, likely 1980s-1990s, but it is similar to the vintage Gerber FFH HS knives arising from the close relationship between Gerber and G. Sakai. The blade has a little side to side movement but has good snap opening although has no snap closing and needs some help closing all the way. It measures 5" closed and has Cocobolo handle and is marked "HS" on the reverse side which is an early marking indicating "High Steel" High Carbon Stainless, or ATS-34 stainless steel blade. This knife came from a closed knife store in Seki and still has price tag on it. Comes with sheath in original box from G. Sakai factory.
