Description
This ornate Parker fixed blade was made by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan for Parker circa 1983-84. It is part of a knife series produced by Parker that were exact reproductions of knives from the 1830-1870 era and were produced in 1983-1984. It has a stainless steel blade and jigged bone handle. Measures 11.75" long overall and has a 7" long blade. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others.
