Description
This is the National Blade Assasin. It features a high quality dagger chisel grind blade with a urasuki concave back. Made in Seki, Japan circa 1980 by Tak Fukuta. The overall Length is 7 1/4" and the blade is 3 1/2" long AUS-6A stainless with original factory edge. The handle is smooth bone (cow) and brass bolsters; natural bone color will vary. Comes with leather boot clip sheath (finish may be rough but good quality). Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of those rare finds.
