Description
This is a vintage hunting knife made by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan circa early 1980s for Parker. It features a hardwood handle with brass bolsters and stainless steel clip point blade marked "King of the Beast" with a lion. This knife is blemished, may have blemished rivet, may have unevenly sharpened blade. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Kife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This knife is one of these rare finds. Knife only, no sheath. One knife per sale, others shown as example only.
