Description
This is one of the original Maxam, made in Japan knives, made circa 1980s. The blade is 440 stainless steel with a synthetic handle. The blade has a tab, similar to the modern flipper knives, which allows one hand opening. This predates recent China made knives and is better quality, although it was an inexpensive brand at the time. Still, finding an original MX-55 in this beautiful condition is a rarity. Listing is for knife only, no sheath.
