Vintage Hoffman Design model 83 SSG
This is the smallest of the three 80 series folding knives. This one arrived in excellent condition.
This is a scarce knife made in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai for Condor circa early 1980s. It features a sturdy 3/32" thick AUS-8 stainless steel blade with micarta handle. Excellent lockup and snap, this is one of the finest little pocket knives you will find. This is an unused blemished knife with small pitting in the bolsters - the reason the condor logo was not etched in the bolster. Stock photos, blemish will vary. The Imai made Condor predates the Secnos versions which came towards the end of Condor production. Seizo Imai was one Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades. He made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai. His custom Loveless style knives are works of art. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds. Stock photos.
