This is a nice vintage fixed blade knife with an awesome unusual design! We acquired this, and the other larger version we have, from a knife collector who explained that he purchased them in 1972. There is no makers mark, but the quality of the work is excellent. The blade was made from a file and there are still file teeth marks visible on the top edge. The edge is looks factory and is sharp though there is handling wear and perhaps light use (but the scratches seem more like hand finishing sanding marks). The guard design looks cool and the stag handle looks great! The sheath is sturdy leather and well made (has some wear). The knife reminds me of the Buck 120 General.
