Description

Description

This is a vintage Japanese crafted pocket knife made in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai for Wenoka circa 1970s. It features a polished stainless steel blade with red micarta handle. This 4580 is a scarce model and a quality copy of the Gerber Magnum produced in that era. Wenoka is known mainly for dive knives, but folding knives like this are very scarce and were produced in very limited quantities. We have provided a cordura nylon sheath (not original). Seizo Imai was one Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades. He made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai. His custom Loveless style knives are works of art. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds.
