Description
This is an incredible vintage old stock find! Designed by revered outdoor and knife writer/photographer Sid Latham, produced by Kenward, and handmade circa 1970s by Kinryu in Seki, Japan. Latham wrote for a variety of outdoor venues in the 1960s-1970s, including Field & Stream, Gun Digest, and wrote "Knifecraft" and "Knives and Knifemakers" (out of print, but still selling!). He designed this knife for Kenward (now Kencrest) but it was never produced in large numbers. Kinryu, also maker for SOG and Cold Steel, used AUS-10 for the integral tang design with a micarta handle. Hand forged and finished. Recently found in Kencrest's archives, this knife comes with the sheath in the original box. Unused, may have light shop wear.
