Description
This is a vintage Japanese crafted pocket knife made in Seki, Japan by Yasuo Imai, circa 1950s. It measures 5" long closed and features a synthetic handle in a fish design and a stainless steel blade. The end of the tail is missing on one side and the handle pulls away from the liner. There are cracks around the pin on the other side. Side to side movement and doesn't snap shut. Rust and tarnish on the liner. Yasuo was the father to one of Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen, Seizo Imai. After Seizo's passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds.
