Description

Description

Designed by Phillip Hoffman, founder of Lakota and Condor knives, this knife was made in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai in the mid-1980s. This beautiful Lakota fillet features a hardwood handle, stainless bolsters, and a sturdy 6" long AUS-8 stainless steel blade. Made to be a fillet knife, but stiff enough to be a boning knife as well. Highly collectible, yet usable. Acquired direct from the closed factory of Seizo Imai and in storage for more than three decades, this is a rare chance to own new old stock from the 1980s, may have light shelf wear. Sheath is not original and is too short for knife, so requires care to not push blade down too far, but works for storing knife.
