This is a quality vintage Filipino butterfly knife, handmade in the Philippines. It features brass handles and copper pins with jigged buffalo horn handles and stainless steel blade. Latch is marked PHIL. on one side and VL on the other side. Handle measures 5" long closed including blade portion and when opened the blade measures 4.125" long. Blade has flat tip, on inspection it seems that the original sharpening did not fully get to the tip and there is no damage. This is a stout knife with excellent handle action while latch is nice stiffer motion.
