Between 1978 and 1983, Dave Ruana learned the art of knifemaking from his grandfather, Rudy Ruana. Afterwards, he and his brothers Bud and Don started Ruana Brothers Knives while Dave continued to do some work for Rudy on the side. In 1987, Dave began making his own knives under the brand RHR Grand which continues to produce fine custom knives. This DARuana signed hunting knife is an early part of this rich Ruana family knifemaking history. It features a wood handle and handmade blade with the original edge. It measures 9.75" long overall and a 5" inch blade. It comes with the original sheath.
