It is marked with the serial number 2042. The tang is marked on the front side "Silver Collection Classic Series Custom Craft Seki Japan" and on the back is "440-A Stainless Steel Japan". It comes in a a glass front display case that is designed to lay flat, or stand up on a shelf for an impressive display. IC Cut, short for "Ishikawa Cutlery", is one of the city's finest makers and has a long family history of crafting samurai swords and began producing knives in 1940.
