Description
This is a prototype dagger made by Tak Fukuta circa 1980s for Parker. It features a high quality dagger chisel grind blade with a urasuki concave back. The overall Length is 7 1/4" and the blade is 3 1/2" long AUS-6A stainless with original factory edge. Comes with Parker Eagle logo sheath. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage "new old stock" models were found at his warehouse.
