This is the Eagle Gravity knife sold in the 1980s by The Edge Knife Company. Many recall this discontinued knife and it has become almost impossible to find today. We have come across a number of these from a closed knife store, these are new old stock and are in unused condition. It is a great copy of the Anton Wingen Othello gravity knife, made in Solingen Germany. Enthusiasts have debated whether this was made in Taiwan or Japan. However, we checked with the original exporter of this knife in Japan and found that it was actually made in Seki, Japan in the 1980s. It is all metal construction with chrome finish on handle and the blade is 440 stainless and is factory sharpened. Push the lever and flick the wrist or push with blade pointing down and it slides into the open position. Point blade upward and push the button and it falls into the closed position. Comes in original box.

I have wanted one of these knives for over 20 years. Although made in the 1980's this knife is in mint condition, just as advertised. The knife is very solid and well made with great finish and detail.
