This is a rare vintage Parker Cut Co. 8 point throwing star made by Tak Fukuta circa 1980 in Seki, Japan. Marked "Parker Cut Co" on the front with a dragon and "Made in Japan" on the reverse side, this star measures 4" from point to point. This star has 1.25" points. It measures just over 1/16" thick. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. These are some of these rare finds. Stock photos. Each sale is for one item.
