Vintage NOS Olsen OK G. Sakai Seki Japan 4" Folding Hunter Lockback Pocket Knife

In storage at G. Sakai for four decades, this is a rare chance to own unused old stock from a bygone era. This is an original Olsen OK Lil Sharpie pocket knife, made in Seki, Japan, between circa 1978-1982 by G. Sakai. In the late 1970s the classic American knife company, Olsen, worked with Japanese companies to produce models in Japan, and this was one of these knives. G. Sakai produced Gerber knives back in those days and that is how they became "Gerber Sakai", shortened to G. Sakai because the company now produces knives for other companies - namely Spyderco. This folding lockback knife features G. Sakai precision and has a sharp stainless steel blade, ebony wood handle, and brass bolsters. It is marked "Olsen Ok - H.C., MI" (Howard City, Michigan) on the front and on the back is "440 Stainless Japan". This is a great medium-sized pocket knife at 4" long closed. Highly collectible, yet makes a great daily user.
