Description
This is a vintage Japanese crafted pocket knife made in Seki, Japan by Yasuo Imai, circa 1950s. It measures 5" long closed and features a synthetic handle in a fish design and a stainless steel blade. Yasuo was the father to one of Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen, Seizo Imai. After Seizo's passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds.

Vintage original factory edge with handling wear. The tail has a crack on one side. The other side tail doesnt match up with the metal liner. There are small cracks around the pins. The liner is slightly bowed out at the head of the fish causing slight side to side blade movement. |
