This is a limited edition produced in 2022 and specially offered at the Blade Show in Atlanta, GA. Special features include a specialty handle, a shortened thumb tab, and jeweled pivot. Mcusta's higonokami friction folder is a traditional Japanese one hand opening knife. It is not a locking blade, but the pressure of the thumb on the blade back prevents it from closing in use. It also has a firm ball bearing detent, keeping the blade in place whether open or closed - similar to how a linerlock keeps a blade closed. The blade is a VG-10 core san mai blade.
