Kiku Matsuda is one of Seki, Japan's leading master knifemakers. He hand grinds these masterpieces in his own unique way, specializing in his Hamaguri-Ba method like the convex edge famous on the Japanese Katana. His superior tactical knives are highly sought after. They caught the attention of SOG who now makes a Kiku version production knife. This knife was designed by Japanese Japanese Pro-Hunter, Mr. Chujyo in Hokkaido and features a superior OU-31 blade (Japanese powder steel) with acid etch finish with Hamaguri-ba ground and just over 3/16" thick. (we did not wipe off the original oil coating on the blade, so you may see that residue and dust sticking to it in the pictures).
