The blade is HON-WARIKOMI clad blade made of TAKEFU SHIRO-2 High carbon steel cutting core, sandwiched between SUS410 stainless steel which provides excellent edge retention, HRC 59 or more. The blade is riveted firmly with 3 points on the handle. The handle is made of bright color plywood. Made in Seki, Japan.
