Description
This is the G. Sakai Bosen kitchen knife. It features a 7.4" long blade made of VG-1 Core stainless steel. The Beautiful hammered finish blade has a Nihonto mark on the blade which means "Japanese samurai sword."
G. Sakai has produced quality knives for many top brands over the decades, including Al Mar, SOG, and Spyderco. For several years it made knives for Gerber, even changing its name to "Gerber Sakai" which was subsequently shortened to G. Sakai. The company now produces Spyderco's Japanese made knives which are known for their exceptional quality. G. Sakai continues to produce quality cutlery under its own name. This fixed knife is a fine example of the company's consistent tradition of offering the finest of Seki made knives.
