This is a beautiful Randall Smithsonian 12-11bowie knife. It features a heavy clip point blade, just under 3/8" thick and an ivoree micarta handle featuring a battle scene scrimshawed by George Harvall. It has a nice heavy brass guard and decorative pommel. The blade is excellent with a few light scuffs and staining marks, perhaps lightly sharpened once (could be original though). This appears to be a circa 1980 knife, but if any fellow enthusiasts have an idea of production year please let us know. This does not come with a sheath, lost over the years.
