IMAX knife
Great knife, excellent condition and quality, easy to carry
This is a scarce vintage folding hunter made in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai circa 1980s-1990s. It is branded Imax, his own personal brand, which he reserved for the finest knives that he made. It features a stag handle with nickel silver bolsters and 440 stainless steel blade. This is an excellent quality made knife. Seizo Imai was one Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades. He made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai. His custom Loveless style knives are works of art. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds. Handle is natural and the appearance will vary (stock photos). (we recommend the Buck 112 sheath for this knife)
