Description
This 2650s has crack/s going through the blade from one side to the other. May be unusable, but still a great addition to a knife collection with historical value. This is a fantastic quality vintage old stock Khyber 2650 that has never been carried or used. The AUS-6A blade edge is factory sharpened and mirror polished and the handle is red micarta. Khyber brand knives are high quality Japanese Ka-Bar knives that were imported from Japan between 1976-1983 by the Cole National Corporation - the same company that owned Ka-Bar. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several unused vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds.
