Description
This is a scarce Colt CT7 fixed blade hunting knife, made circa 1995 in Seki, Japan by Tak Fukuta. These are excellent quality knives. It features an AUS-8 stainless steel gut hook fixed blade, perfect for hunting, and a sturdy leather sheath that was made in USA. This knife is unused, may have light shop wear. Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage unused old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of those finds.
