This is a vintage German combat knife. Sheath has "Bundesrepublik" sticker on it and blade is marked Rostfrei, while handle is marked BW. This is a very neat knife! The blade has wear going in an out of sheath and sheath has a small area on back where paint is removed, and the retaining strap rivet is missing a washer as pictured and rivet on front of sheath holding leather down is a little loose too. I know that is a lot of flaws to enumerate, but otherwise, as you can see, this knife is in excellent condition with wear from going in and out of sheath.
