Description
The UC427 is an elegant and unique folding knife. Produced in Seki, Japan by Tak Fukuta for United Cutlery during the 1980s era, this folder features a four piece second cut stag handle with scrolled nickel silver bolsters and a central bolster as well. There are two blade designs to adapt to different needs. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others.
