Description
The Rhino 44 is a scarce model and a quality copy of the Gerber Magnum produced in the same 1970s era. This knife blade came from the the Seizo Imai factory in Seki, japan. The blade was never sharpened. The mirror polished blade may have tarnish that can mostly be wiped clean. Final two pictures show a completed version of the original Rhino 44 to give example of finished look (for example only, as this offer is for an unfinished blade and rocker).
Seizo Imai was one Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades. He made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai. His custom Loveless style knives are works of art. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds.
