Description
This is a dagger knife made by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan circa 1990 for Boker Magnum. This is similar to other presentation knives he also made for Parker, with nickel silver guard and pommel. It is partially finished, with the handle being rough sanded and needing completed and blade needing sharpened (it too may need a light buffing). It measures 10.875" long overall and the blade measures 6" long and is made of 440 stainless steel that is 5/32" thick. Comes with leather sheath (may be dirty/aged). Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This knife is one of these rare finds.
