Description
This is a scarce knife made in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai for Condor circa early 1980s. This closeout is a factory find that was never completed, giving you the opportunity to do the rest of the work and have a great folder in the end. It features a sturdy 3/32" thick AUS-8 stainless steel blade with tight lockup and a micarta handle with stainless steel bolsters. The Imai made Condor predates the Secnos versions which came towards the end of Condor production. Seizo Imai was one Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades. He made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai. His custom Loveless style knives are works of art. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds. Our own stock photos, all in similar condition.
