This vintage katana letter opener was made in Japan circa 1950s-60s, likely in Seki City. Has a simulated hamon along the blade edge. Has a factory sample prototype sticker on it. Blade gets tight about 1/16" from sheath when closing and cannot close any further. Acquired from a closed distributor in Seki, Japan who had many original factory sample prototypes.
