Description
This is a knife blade blank made by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan for Rigid circa 1980s. One of his most popular Rigid designs, this is a fighting bowie version and the blade is just under 1/4" thick. It measures 12" long overall and the blade measures 7.5" long. Guard not included. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Kife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others.
