Description
This is one of the best production made fillet knives of all time. Designed by Phillip Hoffman, founder of Lakota and Condor knives, this knife was made in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai in the mid-1980s. This one was partially finished at the factory. The handle needs finished and the blade needs sharpened. The Condor 85SSG features a micarta handle, stainless bolsters, and a sturdy 7" long AUS-8 stainless steel blade. Made to be a fillet knife, but stiff enough to be a boning knife as well. You will notice similar designs on other Condors. Comes from the closed factory of Seizo Imai and in storage for more than three decades.
