Description
This is a nice Colt CT7 fixed blade hunting knife, made circa 1995 in Seki, Japan by Tak Fukuta. This one has a circular Tak Fukuta medallion. These are excellent quality knives. It features an AUS-8 stainless steel gut hook fixed blade, perfect for hunting. Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, and Browning among others.
