very good thing and fast delivery
This is a RARE vintage Valor throwing star, hand made in Seki, Japan by Tak Fukuta circa 1970s-80s. Many consider this the finest throwing star made in that era. Comes in the original cardboard sleeve, this star measures a hefty 1/8" thick x 3 5/8" in. Made of blued Carbon Steel and hand finished to a sharp edge, back side is stamped "Ninja" and "Fukuta Ninjya" in Kanji. Hurry, these won't last long.
Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. These are some of these rare finds. Stock photos.
